Ingestion of data into the Cloudera Environment using standard tools and technologies; modeling of tables in Hive.
Coordinate data commoditization.
Standardization of terminology and transformation of data through the architectural zones.
Writing scripts to automate cluster maintenance operations, the orchestration of jobs and deployment of code.
Development and recommendation of innovative solutions and approaches to solving business and technical problems.
Responsible for development using Java, Scala, Python (one or more of these) and Big Data Frameworks.
Integrating with external data sources and APIs.
Developing coding standards and best practices for Big Data Development.
Create automated tests to assure Data Quality in the Big Data Environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Cloudera, SQL, Data warehousing & BI, Big Data technologies (HDFS, Hive, Impala, Spark, Kudu, HBase, Kafka, Flume, Sqoop, Oozie etc.), Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 7.2, Java /Python/Scala, Informatica BDM, Tidal, GitHub.
The ideal candidate can code if needed but focus heavily on the data warehouse experience
